Commentary:
Regardless of the consequences of my errors, apologizing and clearing my conscience has nearly always the best route to take for all involved parties. There have only been a handful of occasions in which this was not the case. However, fear of confession has stopped me many times from doing things that I otherwise might have done and later was thankful that I did not.
